New, Lower prices!
No Contracts!
No Data Caps!
In the interest of serving our members with a personalized and exceptional member experience, Pioneer Connect will become your single connection for all your internet, video, Wi-Fi and phone needs beginning August 1. Pioneer Connect and PEAK Internet recognize the value of having one company and one voice to serve Pioneer’s cooperative membership. We have been working together on this transition since the beginning of the year.
We are grateful to PEAK Internet for their long-standing partnership with Pioneer Connect but both companies recognized the financial and operational advantages of having Pioneer Connect directly serving its membership for all their internet needs.
We’ll continue to provide the same customer service and technical support you’ve come to expect from a local member-owned cooperative.
Best of all, as a cooperative, we are able to provide
lower internet prices for you starting August 1!

Below is a list of Q&A’s you may have regarding the internet transition from PEAK Internet to Pioneer Connect. As always, if you have any questions, please feel free to contact our Customer Service Team or email us.
Q&A
Why is PEAK handing off their internet service to Pioneer Connect?
This was a business decision for both Pioneer Connect and PEAK Internet. Both companies realized that in order to serve our members the best possible way, Pioneer Connect needed to focus on its members and PEAK Internet needed to focus on its customers outside of Pioneer’s service area. This allows both companies to direct their resources where they can be most effective. In doing this, members will get their internet directly though Pioneer Connect and not PEAK.
Is PEAK going out of business?
Absolutely not! Even though PEAK Internet will no longer be providing internet in our serving area, they will be focusing on growing their business offerings in other locations.
How will our service be different after PEAK hands off the internet service?
Our commitment to our members and the communities we serve is stronger than ever. Pioneer will continue to provide our members with the best customer service and support that we always have. And, as a cooperative, we will be able to lower our rates…which means you save money!
How is this change good for Pioneer Connect financially?
This change is really better for the members financially. Pioneer Connect can offer Internet more cost-effectively in conjunction with our phone services than a company that offers only Internet in Pioneer Connect’s service area. This allows us to not only reduce prices but will also provide funds for network improvements that will allow us to provide higher Internet speeds.
Will this affect my capital credits?
Nope! Your capital credits remain untouched and unchanged.
Will I be able to get faster internet speeds?
Pioneer is committed to our members and understands in today’s world, faster internet speeds are needed. Not only will we be lowering our prices, but this transition will provide some additional capital to fund our ongoing efforts to upgrade our network to provide faster internet throughout our serving area.
What if I want to keep PEAK Internet as my provider?
Unfortunately, that’s not possible. As of August 1, 2020, PEAK Internet will no longer be providing service in this area.
What happens to my bill?
Good news! The biggest difference on your bill from Pioneer Connect will be lower internet pricing! You may also notice that the name of your internet plan has changed, and you won’t see PEAK Internet on your bill anymore. You will still get one bill and payment options all remain the same.
Do I get to keep my email address?
ABSOLUTELY! We know it’s hard to change email addresses, so as part of our continued partnership with PEAK Internet, your email address will remain the same.
What will change?
- Pioneer will be rolling out new products and the latest Wi-Fi technology. This includes our new Wi-Fi product – Premium Wi-Fi, along with Enhanced Parental Controls and Home Network Security.
- Pioneer Connect’s prices will be lower than ever. It’s a good time to upgrade to faster internet speeds.
What is not changing?
- Us! You talked to us when you signed up for internet service or when you needed a tech to come on-site to troubleshoot issues you may have had. There will no longer be any confusion about who to call for support.
- When it comes to day-to-day practices, you won’t notice significant changes in our customer service. Pioneer will continue to provide the quality customer service and support you’ve come to expect while offering products and services that meet your needs.
- The people.
Are you still providing after-hours support?
YES WE ARE! We are committed to supporting our customers 24/7 and we will continue to work with PEAK Internet to provide after-hour support, 24/7.
