How Does Going to Washington D.C. Sound?
Every summer, Pioneer sends two high school students aged 16 or 17 at the time of the tour to visit our nation’s capital and to learn about rural telecommunications. The tour provides a forum for teens to meet and interact with their peers from other rural communities, as well as key legislative, regulatory and government staff. This year, Foundation for Rural Service is celebrating 25 years of hosting this fantastic opportunity. Two students will get the chance of a lifetime to go to the capital June 6 – June 10, 2020.

Application and qualifications will be available online beginning January 15, 2020, at pioneer.net and must be submitted on or before the deadline of March 5, 2020, at 4:30 p.m.
